Ode to Trump’s Humble Prayer

Now I lay me down to sleep
God I see no reason why I should weep
Clinton lost and I have won
the big Mexican roundup has begun

Now Lord if you would please
help this humble man on his knees
I ask a favor so very, very small
give me the strength to build the wall

I hope you understand my decree
forcing all the Muslims to flee
two thousand and one I cannot forget
their cowardly attack by jet

I promised to make our country great
and hope you understand my mandate
only Christians can come ashore
everyone else will be shown the door

In God we trust I hope you believe
those that disagree will have to leave
The government will be run by business men
and we will celebrate Christmas once again

Oh and one last thing I humbly plea
please tell the Pope that you agree
